The hotel is located walking distance to old town, which is perfect 😍 Room was clean and cosy. Perfect for a city break weekend. What we loved most was super nice staff. Everyone was really helpful and welcoming. We’ve been given lots of local restaurants recommendations and a talk about local history and upcoming festival. We loved a stay in the Hotel du Commerce. Thank you for your hospitality 😍

Location: close to train station, very close to Messeplatze, Communication: responsive to my inquiry, share Basel card before we arrive. I also received very clear instruction about how to arrive at hotel via public transportation. Service: we received very good service. Kitchen stuff helped us to heat our own food with oven; we can leave our luggage at reception after check out; room service found thing we forgot in room and put it on my luggage

Location excellent On the tram line to both the German and Swiss train stations, the airport is only a tram and bus drive away from the hotel

The staff at the reception were very helpful. I arrived around 7.00 am in the morning and my room was ready to check-in already. The convention center is literally across the street. Bathroom is updated. I needed an adaptor for plugs, and it was provided free of charge. It was a pleasant stay and value for money for Basel area is really good.

The hotel was in a great location--directly across from the convention center, and within a few minutes walking distance from the bus and train stops. The staff was very friendly and got us checked in quickly.

Hotel du Commerce was a very pleasant place to stay in Basel. It was conveniently located for Basel city centre and there was breakfast available onsite, albeit somewhat expensive. The room was small and basic but perfectly adequate, and was spotlessly clean.

There were 4 of us friends together. Had one of their larger room so nobody had to double up in a bed. Great space- really great area too
