The staff at the reception were very helpful. I arrived around 7.00 am in the morning and my room was ready to check-in already. The convention center is literally across the street. Bathroom is updated. I needed an adaptor for plugs, and it was provided free of charge. It was a pleasant stay and value for money for Basel area is really good.

Hotel du Commerce was a very pleasant place to stay in Basel. It was conveniently located for Basel city centre and there was breakfast available onsite, albeit somewhat expensive. The room was small and basic but perfectly adequate, and was spotlessly clean.

Very well located hotel, you can do almost everything by walking, and if not, the transport works excellently. The reception was very friendly, we even arrived before check in and they had no problem entering us before. The room was as shown in the photos.

Good location, lovely and clean. We only stayed one night on route to river cruise. Staff very helpful with directions to river cruise.

The hotel’s location is very good, close to tram stops. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable ( there are kettle and refrigerator in the room).

All the amenities and very friendly and nice staff and nice view from the balcony, I enjoyed drinking the tea in the balcony
